Mega Millions Jackpot Nears $400 Million After No Winner in Latest Drawing

Jackpot Still Up for Grabs — Next Drawing Set for June 9

The Mega Millions frenzy is heating up again after no one scooped up the big prize last Friday. The jackpot has now soared to a jaw-dropping $392 million, with a tempting cash option of $173.3 million. For those feeling lucky, the next shot at millionaire status happens on Sunday, June 9, at 11 p.m. ET.

During Friday’s drawing on June 5, the winning numbers were 13, 30, 50, 52, and 66, with the gold Mega Ball 2. Even though no ticket matched all six numbers, plenty of players walked away smiling.

The biggest win of the night came out of Iowa, where someone matched all five white balls — just missing the Mega Ball. That near miss still scored them a sweet $2 million prize, thanks to an added multiplier.

Several others across the U.S. also cashed in on smaller but solid winnings. Four players matched four white numbers and the Mega Ball to grab $20,000 each, while two players hit it bigger with multipliers of 3x, collecting $30,000 each. One especially lucky player pulled off a 10x multiplier, walking away with $100,000.

Meanwhile, Powerball seems to be stealing some of the spotlight this year, already delivering five jackpots in 2026. Mega Millions has only crowned two jackpot winners so far — one in Illinois and another in Ohio, who took home $60 million.

Still, as the jackpot now creeps close to the $400 million mark, anticipation is running high across the country. With two chances to strike it rich every week, fans are holding their tickets tight and hoping to be the one who finally breaks the streak.

Tomorrow’s drawing might just make someone’s wildest dreams come true — or keep the Mega Millions hype going into next week.

Ashley Revell is the English entrepreneur who founded our company. Jackpotinside.com is a review gambling site that he launched in 2022 and is currently developing. In 2004, he sold everything he owned, including clothes, to gamble $135,300. After betting on red, Revell doubled his money to $270,600 after the ball ended up on 7. After receiving funding from a British online bookmaker, Revell changed his name to "Ashley Blue Square Revell" and started an online poker company called Poker UTD. Without Sky One's Double or Nothing reality show, Revell's life-changing moment would have been lost in anonymity. Viewers helped Revell decide between red and black. Having bet everything on Black, the Brit would have flipped at the last minute and placed his bet on Red instead, which would have drastically altered the outcome. “There were only seconds left before I lost everything I had. In order to fund this crazy bet, I sold everything I owned and could not have left Las Vegas with anything more than my hired tuxedo.” After winning the life-changing prize, the 32-year-old founded his own poker company, Poker UTD. The venture ended up being short-lived, and he was eventually able to use the remaining funds to fund a motorbike trip across Europe, where he met his future wife as well. As an avid gambler, Ashley Revell has a deep knowledge and understanding of the gambling industry. He is also passionate about helping others and sharing that knowledge with them to make informed decisions. For that, the creation of the JackpotInside project becomes the perfect opportunity. We and Ashley Revell, who is the CEO of JackpotInside.com, welcome you and hope that our website helps you in any way. Good luck and have fun!
